What kind of constructions does the clinic use during orthopedic treatment?
Our clinic uses both removable and fixed constructions.
Removable constructions include: full and partial acrylic plate prostheses, Biege-like prostheses, Valplast (elastic) prostheses.
Fixed constructions include: bridges, individual crowns, veneers.
What are bridges and what are they made of?
A bridge is a fixed construction of artificial teeth that is made on two or more supporting teeth. Different materials are used to make bridges, including metal-ceramics and zirconia-ceramics.
When are crowns used and what are they made of?
When the crown of the tooth is severely decayed and cannot be restored with an abutment, or when the abutment is large and there is a danger of breaking the remaining tooth wall, then it is advisable to cover it with an artificial crown.
An artificial crown is made:
metal-ceramic, zircon-ceramic, metal-plastic, plastic, stainless steel, gold
Acrylic (plastic) prosthesis:
A prosthesis made of acrylic material is the strongest and most durable, and also the most budget-friendly. However, it has disadvantages: it can cause an allergic reaction, a feeling of vomiting and a temporary disturbance of diction, within the field of the prosthesis, the presence of a painful focus.

How to take care of the prosthesis?
